Gretchen Elise, vocalist, returning to her hometown, Philly, after many years out of state, makes music that has been described by the Boston Globe as a "signature blend of world, jazz, R &B, and hip hop. "She debuts her original work at Love Park in a characteristic collaboration. Camden's UCC Royal Brass represents the best of Camden's musicians and expands on the legacy of New Orleans second-line jazz bands. Walnut, a Boston MA based hip hop poet makes his own quirky and politically critical Philly debut. These three collaborators blend genres and bend convention in their first of many joint efforts.
